Devon's Playland at Frere Hospital (East London) has been completed.
Frere Hospital - Devon’s Playland was officially opened on 20 September 2024 which was a joyful occasion full of emotions, singing, dancing and thankfulness from all faculties of Frere Hospital Paediatric Oncology Ward. The Directors of the Devon Vergne Foundation were overwhelmed by the positive response they received. It is the Foundation’s hope that this Playland will leave a lasting legacy of little 'Devon'.

The children will always be our main focus, but we also want to create a space for the parents and nursing staff where they can have a moment to build their strength to give their best to the children. We updated the wallpaper in the waiting area and also refurbished the chairs. In the nurse's kitchen, we have also added wallpaper.
Playland - Paediatric Oncology Unit At Steve Biko Academic Hospital
The Playland is the first project we did at Steve Biko in 2011. We have done some updates in between and have just completed a major revamp.
